Vasilije Ostroški

Na današnji dan 1610. godine rodio se Stojan Jovanović, poznatiji kao Vasilije Ostroški. Crkva koju vidite posvećena je svetom Nikoli i nalazi se u selu Mrkonjići (Bosna i Hercegovina), rodnom mestu svetog Vasilija, a na mestu nadgrobnog spomenika koji vidite sahranjena je Ana Jovanović, majka svetog Vasilija.
Umro je 29.04.1671. godine.
Takođe vidite i manastir Ostrog iz 1890. godine i danas.
